How do you flatten Edge Pro like stones seeing how they are pretty small to begin with? What would I need? I am leaning towards a Haptone V7 but still in research mode. Would it be as simple as getting a regular sized flattening plate or is there a different procedure for non standard sized stones such as Edge Pro, KME? Really, I don't think there is standard?

It is as simple as procuring a flattening stone such as the Naniwa QA-0160 #60. SiC + glass plate. Flat section of concrete sidewalk. All will do just fine.
 
I seem to recall a video where the founder of edge pro flattens a stone with SiC grit. You might email edge pro to see if that video still exists and if they can send you a link.
