How do you take a post from one thread and use it as a quote in another thread?

Just quote it. Then close that thread and open the one you wish to put it in. Go to the dialogue box, and press “Insert Quote(s).

Could also hit Reply, copy the text in the box, then go to the thread you want and paste it.
