Hello,

If this is not the correct place to post my question please move it to a more appropriate area.

I have a sharpshooter sheath for a BR full-size kephart. Love the knive and the sheath however the sheath feels a little to big for the knife. My question is what can I do to shrink it a bit so it holds the scales more securely /tighter? Wet it and let it dry?

Thank you inadvance for your help.

If its been formed and sealed, water ain't gonna do it. How loose we talkin'? Turn it over and it falls out, or just broke in a little?

when I turn it over it does not fall out, but if i shake it a little bit it will drop out.

Sounds like it's a condition one could live with unless you break in to cart-wheels now and then.....
Without seeing the knife and sheath.......this may be a solution....a thin/small piece of doe-skin glued into the inside at the mouth of the sheath. This would make the opening smaller, plus it will be a little grippy.

You never know when I might break into cart-wheels. Some days are better then others. I'll try the small piece of glued leather. Thank you for th input.
