Mine started out OK, nice relaxed breakfast then out to drench the horses. While doing that I noticed one one them had some crap tangled in his mane. Couldn't untangle it so I reached in the top pocket of the jacket and out with the mini grip. Sliced of a bit of mane and that fixed the problem but then, the horse did what all horses can be guaranteed to do, the unexpected. He stepped sideways knocking me off balance and I dropped the mini grip. Picked it up and saw blood. Oh bugger, it's my blood. Those bloody things are SHARP out of the box! The wife convinced me, (read: easier to comply than listen to nagging), to go get a tetanus shot, been a few years since the last. So, off we go to town to visit the hospital and get a shot. Took ten minutes, no problem, so since we were in town we went to the Soldiers Club for a nice lunch and a glass of beer. Went home and read a book in front of the fire. Not a bad day all considered.
