Hey guys sorry if this is a stupid question but is there any way to buy a brand new XM without going through forums/ebay?

edit: removed pricing info (sorry Need2Know)

Try to go on Rick Hinderer knives website and click on dealers list at the top. Click on the links and go through some other websites and you could find some. I recently started getting into higher end knives and discovered hinderer, now I want an XM too but will not spend $800 for an edc knife either. I came across one website selling them for $600-700 for a knife and pen combo. Worth checking out.

Guys, we don't talk secondary pricing here...it's for the general area if anywere.

The authorized dealers found on the Hinderer Website are the best way to go. Many sell at over direct purchase but some try to hold close as possible. These knives are very highly sought after and simple supply/demand logic applies.

Okay sorry Need2Know I don't mean to upset anyone or anything like that. You can move/delete this thread if you want.

It's cool. My words are only cautionary and friendly. It's just these type threads can go nowhere and fast.

Sounds like N2K has you covered. If there is any way you can make it to some of their knife shows they pretty regularly hold lotteries at the show they attend from what I understand. Good luck on your search and I hope you find one.

And I say this often...$20/week tucked into a simple savings account or envelope adds up to over a grand after just one year....these things are not too far out of the hands of those who plan a bit. Good luck in your search.

jsburlys.com is the only dealer I know, who offers XM-18s at ricks prices, although usually in a combo with other hinderer products. He had 3.5" Xm-18s a couple of days ago, but unfortunately they are gone now.

New answer...in the pocket of a proud XM owner....that's where many are found.
One day I will be one of them ;)

True but that some serious patience, I'm sure I would just cave and slip the last $200 or so in early :)

Thanks I'll keep an eye on this site, I really appreciate it.

Well, luckily many dont take a full year to save for, so...

Good luck in your hunt! We'll still be around the day you proudly post photos.
