I got my first LB 7 perhaps a month ago....

I hadn't purchased a folder in 1.5 years. About month ago, I bought 2 @$69 (each). I've since bought 2 (with much higher pricetags) in the past two weeks...You don't have a problem, yet. I didn't even have the sense to feel buyer's remorse over my last two (I wanted them)

Out of curiosity, I just googled LB7...I clicked on the Amazon entry, and received a notice that it couldn't be shipped to my location. Again I say, you don't have a problem.

I go through dry spells buying knives. I haven't bought anything in around 3 months now..

As long as the LB7 includes the letters - USA - I see no problem.
Those date from a time when Schrade was a brand name that meant something.
