How Would It Sell?

How do you guys think an exclusive Ares in S30V or D2 and G10 would sell? The Ares has always been one of my personal favorites. I have wondered a few times if BM brought back the Ares or if it had been in production as long as the 710 if it would be held in as high a regard. Would you guys pay $200 for one? Brad.
 
He is not asking what his knife is worth. He is asking what Benchmade would sell a new limited edition of the Ares for. Given the current pricing I think a MAP of $175-200 is likely.
 
Think it would sell good. Never owned an Ares but would like too. I'm fine with 154cm. More i use it more i love it. Love both s30v and d2 though also. Honestly couldn't pick which i like best between the 3.
 
Always room for another Ares. I have an original 732 in 154CM and later limited from a year or two 730-1202 from Knifeworks in M390 and it's a gem. These are some of the finest knives to come along and an inclusion to anyone's collection. Here's the limited.

 
I just want a regular production Ares with a 154CM blade and plain black G10 scales.
 
BM is not currently releasing any versions of the Ares except as a limited. It would be great to see more models being made for regular sale not Gold, exclusive or limited.

Probably the same reason they don't make the AFCK anymore - ????

I was so disappointed that I missed the last run of tan handled Ares's (Areses?) and would be all over another one, no matter the blade steel.

Yep, it was just more of just something fun to talk about than anything, I dont't think I broke any rules. I do own an Ares and I think it's a model that more people would be interested in, but was curious about what others thought, not what anyone thinks my personal knife is worth. The ergos and size seem to be something that is somewhat missing from the current BM line up, the 710 is thinner in the hand and everything else in close to the same length is much different in my opinion. There are quite a few other threads about what others would like to see in an upcoming exclusive. Brad.

That's what I would order if BM did a Build Yout Own Ares, tan or coyote linen micarta in CPM 154CM, stone washed, titanium liners and hardware, and plain edge. Brad
