  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How would you do it?

Okay, here's the problem. What methods would you guys use to cut a 1" hole in any bar steel (this rules out the forging process).

1. Torch (accepted method)
2. Drilling holes around circumference then "connecting the holes" with a jeweler's saw.

Any other creative ideas out there?--thanks, Dan

would you use a hole saw on 01 steel? I thought those hole saws were for wood?--Dan
