Howard Clark?

Has anyone heard from him? I sent my first three blades to him for heat treatment the end of May. I checked his web site and saw that, as of June 1, he no longer offers heat treating services.

After three e-mails and two phone calls I have not been able to contact him. If he's busy I understand but I don't want to lose my first attempts at knifemaking.

Does anyone have a contact number other than the one on his web site "mvforge"?

I had a similar bad experience. It took 6+ weeks to get my blades back. He answered my calls and said he is very busy making his own blades and heat-treating is a very small part of his business. I finally got them back but was worried. Here is his number: (515) 966-2126 good luck Bruce

Howard was in surgery just now. He's taking the week off. Your best bet is to call him as he is normaly swamped with e-mails.

The waiting list on his blades are about a year long. Donno about the heat treat service.

Don't worry about getting your blades back. You will in time. Howard is a very honest man and will get to them back. He is just very, very busy.
