Has anybody got first hand experience with this knife? Or know someone who has?
 
Great knife in both old and new versions. Action is as smooth as any production knife I've tried. Only possible complaint is weight. It doesn't bother me but some people prefer a lighter knife. I wouldn't hesitate to get one.

The one I have will take a wicked edge but will not retain it as well as the D2's that I have. The Viele is VG10. Otherwise it is a good knife. Smooth opening and has a good lock up.
