Hello all,

Im a big fan of Howards products.
Im considering using the Howards Butcher Block conditioner for multipurpose maintenance of my carbon blades, wood and micarta handles, and leather sheaths.

The ingredients are food grade mineral oil, carnuba wax, and bees wax.
Do you see any down sides to this plan?

...Howards...i put that sh!t on everything!?

I use Howard Cutting Board Oil for cutting boards and occasionally on my oil stones for sharpening. It is a food-grade mineral oil so can be used for anything where you would use a food-grade mineral oil.

I use the Butcher Block conditioner for my cutting boards as well. It is readily available at my local Home Depot and not particularly expensive.
