Some of you may know me from other forums, but many may not.

My name is Lawren Wimberly, and I have been making knives and tools for over 30 years.
I currently live in SC, between Augusta and Columbia. I'm a disbility retired USAF SSGT.

I've known some knifemaking greats from Bill Moran to Tim Lively. Some of the folks I know here are worthy of the "Knifemaking Greats" title as well (hey John :))

I'm new to this forum, so if I mispost something, admins, please let me know.

Here's a couple examples of my work

Hey Lawren,

Nice to see you around. Haven't heard from you in ages, shoot me a PM.

Good lookin work as usual.

Nice knives. I especially like the railroad knife, I've been meaning to make one myself for some time.

Longbowkid: Hey Brandon, Glad you are still around Boy, I've been worried about you, your momma, and grandma. 'Fraid I dont have PM priveledges here yet, You can reach me at purgatory. Had a BAD year last year, lost contact with everyone for a while.

Zanuha, the railroad track is excellent steel, about 1075. This was a scrap left over after I refaced a Fischer anvil with the bottom plate. the top of the rail makes nice hammers too.
