Hey, y'all. I'm not exactly a new member, but I've been lurking for a while and thought it was high time I went legit and introduced myself.

I grew up with a pocket knife as a constant companion. As a youth I carried it every day in my front pants pocket such that my jeans ended up with a distinctive wear mark there. Now my pockets get torn up from knives with clips, though honestly, most of the damage is to my bank account!

Cool, I used to live on Alice on the downtown side of the lake, between 14th and 17th. You north of piedmont or out in the 40's? Either way, your out of the riot and occupy zones! I do miss it there, though...

Yeah I got tired of the bar scene too, so I stopped going! Luckily there's plenty of other stuff to do.

Ha! Yup. But it seems like in Chico if you're going to be sociable, a lot centers around those nine square blocks of hedonism. Though i have been in so cal for a decade;-)
