Hi Bladesmiths,
Getting ready to retire and need something to do to stay out of MaMaBears hair. Always had a passion for edged weapons and thought I would give this a try and who knows maybe I could sell a few for Beer Money.

Just bought a kit to try my hand at it before I start spending money on a shop full of tools. I have a ton to learn and have been spending hours on BoobTube watching videos and thought to myself that I can do this!

Anyhow, please get ready for this Cherry to be picking your brains for much-needed info.

Welcome to the forum, I think your in the right place. Looking forward to seeing some of your work.
 
Triple b talks about some of the issues he was going into starting to make knives.


He's got a few good points. The vid is different topic but he goes over his knife making trials later in it. Skip around if need.

Besides that. What knives have you sketched out already? I'd like to see what style you are offering.
