Some fine choices.

There is no knife of choice persay, I know I have it bad for Busse's, Swamp Rats and Spydercos. Make sure one of these days you wander on over to the Busse forum.:D Thats where I spend most of my time, a good bunch of guys over there, and some nuclear tough knives as well.

aloha. welcome aboard.

for fixed blades try busse/swamprat/scrapyard. expensive, but hard to beat.

as ren said, prepare to max out your creditcards! enjoy the ride!

cheers, kimo

Really, I missed the finale?

Anyway, Welcome aboard Jackman. By the size of your collection I can see you already have the sickness. So, of course, you know there is no cure. Just treat it with a new "fix" occasionally.;)

Everytime I decide thats it no more knives, I need to save some money in this crap economy, I see something on ebay i want. I keep my knives in army ammo boxes pretty secure so my little ones can't get at them. LIke i said i am trying to sell some of them off, I bought a few just for the fact they were a good price not even that i wanted them, ebay is like gambling, but i am trying to streamline to quality not quanity, but my knives aren';t selling so hot thus far on ebay.

Hi welcome to blade forum, if you want you could do some of your buying here on BF in the knife exchange section. I like buying stuff on BF a little better since you have more contact with the seller.

I had to stop reading for the laugh that ensued after reading your first sentance.

As for the e-bay gambling, I think I know exactly where you are coming from. Due to me trying to simplify my post-retirement life, I am doing my best at avoiding such.

As for purchasing itself, Paintballer has an excellent suggestion/point of experience in the previous post. I think if you develop a good, reliable relationship here then people will know and trust what they will be getting if they purchase from you. Just remember, we are blade lovers first and foremost. Any ride by night wares sellers need know this. That's why BF is typically full of good people inasmuch as the "sellers" market, as well as everywhere else, forum wise.

Good luck and welcome again.

Definitley sounds like you are "Down with the sickness".
