A month ago, I ordered my first Spyderco's: a sprint run J. D. Smith and a Tenacious. What great knives! Both have become valued participants in my EDC rotation. (This from someone who until a few months ago carried the same liner lock for 10 years.)

I'm now dipping in once again and have ordered a Chokwe and Persistence. As I am able to shake loose some discretionary income, my general plan is to order both a Military and Para Military probably in digital camo with black blades. I really don't see myself as a collector but more as somewhat of a pragmatic purchaser who buys what he likes and intends to use. Judging from my first bite, I think I'm in the right place. :D

That's what I used to tell myself... all of my knives get used of course but really, who needs more than one knife? At what point does it become an obsession?

After 3 folders all about the same size, it is an obsession. Not that there's anything wrong with that! Glad to help.

lol my first spyderco was an endura 4 wave I bought about 4 months ago thinkin it had everything I wanted..and it really was for what I needed..but with the help of youtube, ebay, and blade forums...I now have a centofante 3, tenacious, endura 4 [w/o wave], and Delica 4 in the mail.

So true, so true. I am indeed once again teetering on the edge of another addiction. LOL. But, fortunately, my wife sees this as a hopeful thing since buying another knife is not near as spendy as bringing home another 1911. So, it seems to me I have a little "wiggle" room.
