Somebody just snagged the blade the older model Howling Rat wanted to be when it grew up. One was for sale over in the exchange forum.

Too bad everyone else missed out on that one. It is one fine piece of kit.

Here is a pic of mine just to make you mad.

Here is the reason you want the big choil. Notice how Troy broke that edge inside the choil?

Slick as owl snot on a hoe handle.

Here is another one from his family pic of the Fat, black and tan, and Shaker. I had the Shaker, but it went to South Africa to a new Rat. Wish I had it now. That would be a great pic to replicate.

Seriously, you made a great choice. It is that great of a knife.

Many like the thinner stock, as do I. But the Fat is the shat. :thumbup:
