Folks,

Have what I believe is a Gen 1 Howling Rat.

Thickness is 0.180" at the choil

End of handle to blade tip is a hair over 4.5"

OAL is 9"

Weight is 5 7/8 ounces


Am I correct ?

Any help appreciated.

From memory, the primary (maybe only) difference between Gen. 1 and Gen. 2 was the size of the choil. I believe Gen. 1 was smaller, and that's what yours looks like.
 
Looks like a gen 1 to me. I’ve got a gen 2 and like it a lot... Good score. :)
