My Howling Rat has returned from its' world travels!

After its' trip to Thailand, I've got to say it looks like a whole new Rat! Many thanks to Dick for his amazing craftsmanship.

Here's what it looked like before... (pic by progunner)

I will post a Howling Family Portrait as soon as I am able to take one that's decent. :D

Hey, how come you can get one of Dick's Howlers and we can't???!!????

:(

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! :grumpy:

Troy, you suck!! :p

:D

Ok, looks great, but pics alone will not cut it. Tell us about the handle!!!

I'm not sure what type of wood it is, but the bolster (that right?) is ivory. The fit and finish are flawless. The wood and ivory match up perfectly with no gaps at all -- even where the ivory meets up with the steel as seen in one of those pics. Also, the ivory has a very slight marbling to it.

It's super comfortable. The back end flares out slightly, similar to an axe handle, and provides assurance that you'd retain your grip if chopping with it. The shape is well though out.

See what happens? You get me started and I can't stop talking about it! :D

"If", like anyone would chop with something that purty.... :)
