Any knife from the Swamp is great knife. I love my RMD's and HRM's. and I have knives from many makers. My favorites, other than what i inherited, it's Swamp.

I really like the HRLM, I have not had the chance to skin with it yet, but know it's going to do a great job of it. I have seen some pics posted here where it can do some pretty heavy duty jobs for other chores and take a lot of abuse. It is definitely a keeper and one knife I will never part with.

I used one of my HRLMs to help a buddy skin & butcher a deer, and it worked great.
