See how stupid this sounds (hopefully not)...I have an old uncoated howling rat, beat up and dulled, and I am in the process of thinning the herd-leaving a bruks axe for heavy stuff and some cutting, a bog dog for food prep, cleaning fish and game, and more precision slicing, and I was thinking about getting a puukko for woocarving and such, but...what about putting a scandigrind on the GenII HR? I know the warranty goes up in smoke, but who cares. I think the deep belly would make the little blade a great dedicated woodworking blade, and I like that grind's super-easy field sharpening protocol. Thoughts?

Do it and make sure there are many pics to share.

It should be awesome.
