How's about some Bob Lum's

Tony.

Those r awesome pic man. I love it. U horde ;)
Guys I personally handled these knives and they are more awesome than any pic can do. DROOL :D

Liong

Great looking bunch of knives you have there. It seems that we don't get to see enough pictures of Bob Lum's work. Thanks for posting this one.

Dexter: Nice folder. I have a similar one in Green G10. See the link in my first post. Click on the Folders pic.

As for the chopper: It's his Grand Master Darn Dao model. He made that one for me over 12 years ago. It's 10" blade of L6 tool steel with African Blackwood handles with bolsters and red micarta spacers. The tang is fully tapered. Unfortunately when I ordered it, I told Bob that I will be using it, which explains the choice of steel. And the blade has developed some mild pitting.

Tony - Thanks for the specs on the chopper. Very nice! You've got a nice collection of Lum's folders. The tanto with the micarta scales looks awesome. Thanks for the pics!

Dexter and all: To remedy Bob's lack of exposure, here are the fixed Tactical blades; all different styles. Some regular models, some one offs.

Again, for a larger resolution pic, click on the link in the first post. Enjoy.

Great collection! Most Lums in one place that I've seen.

You don't happen to have any Lum puukkos? I've heard/read that he makes some nice puukkos for camping etc.

Tommi: Sorry no Puukko's. Bob did carry that model in his old catalog for a long time, so if you can find on, there's a picture of it in there. He still makes them on special order, and I sure he'll enjoy the break from making all those folding tanto's and Chinese Folders.
