I just asked her how she was doing, and she gave me two thumbs up.
Physically, her progress has really slowed down, but she still surprises us with a new capability occasionally.
As for using her Busses, she and I are planning a trip to the range soon to see if she can safely handle a rifle. In the past (pre-injury) she loved to shoot our Colt Lightweight Sporter configuration AR in 7.62x39. If she can still do that, I have a project in mind for her, perhaps a .260 Remington cut down a little. My former employer has some handicapped hunting facilities, with shooting houses with wheelchair access. She is excited about the possibility of shooting a deer next Fall and using her AD.
I have also promised her a fishing trip this spring. I have a pencil and crayon picture of her and me in my boat fishing, which she drew at about ten years old. It was a homework assignment, to draw her most favorite place in the world.
These may be ambitious plans, but we continue to push the envelope and she is one tough cookie. I took her to the Auburn/Arkansas football game in the Fall, and although we had fun she was really worn out at the end of the day.
She and her mother are already asking me about the Blade Show.
