How's LCC holding up?

I've had mine (sw plain) for about three weeks now and haven't really "used" it yet. I do carry it every day though and love it! Have noticed that the bolsters are getting scratched from other items in pocket, no big deal. I was just wondering if anyone has been really using it and how it's holding up? Does it stay tight, sharp, ect.? Thanks, Dave

I really like mine but the only thing that didnt hold up well at all was the clip....

I bend mine straight out on the 2nd day, It bends VERY easy! I sent it back and got a new one put on (Great CS by the way!).

Only now Im afraid to carry it by the clip. I asked if it was possible to get a clip that was NOT cut out like this one, a solid clip...Nope! Also asked if I could get a scale for that side without the milling or holes drilled, just a plain side...Nope! Oh well, couldnt hurt to ask huh?

Overall...Great knife for the $$$

I liked mine so much, I bought a second one just 'for pretty.' I hate to say this, but I like the LCC more than my SOCOM Tantos, and I thought I'd never say that.--OKG

Yep, holding up great...I am having the same bolster scratching "problem" though. Ohh well, its meant to be used right??

I ended up taking the clip off and just putting the screws back into their holes, and I carry mine in the pouch.

I am a bit dissapointed with the pouch though. The knife sits too far into it for my taste. Makes it kinda hard to get out.

But all-in-all, it is a wonderful knife.

Hey Kdarmy- Have you tried a clip from a different MT knife ?, It would be good if they were interchangeable, the clip from the Socom is a strong SOB. Donald.

I picked up a "used" L-CC from Pontiaker...it had bolster scratches too. All I had to do was hit em' with some 00 fine steel wool, and they all came out, and not a problem since. I think it thins out the bead blasting so much, that it keeps them from getting scratched anymore. I also hit the blade, and it looks AWESOME!!!

Donald,
This is the only Microtech Ive got, but I have looked at all my other knives to see if I could get one to match but no luck yet. Cant believe Im the only one you has bent the heck out of one yet...? Would also like to find a clip that either goes straight or bends the other way than the one thats on it. It seems as though it was meant to carried in the left pocket, NOT the right.

Jackyl, I think I might the steel wool for heck of it but only on the bolsters. If I don't like it I can bead blast it and restore to original. I won't touch the blade though, I love the stone wash finish!
