How's the Arcitech faring?

Hi, was wondering if anyone can tell me, maybe Chris@SOG, how the SOG Arcitech is doing with customers. I finally got one about 6 months ago after waiting for nearly a year, and think it's incredible. I don't really use it much, but when I open the SOG drawer in my cabinet, it's always sitting there shining up at me, and I'm very glad I went to the trouble to get one. I've even considered picking up a second one as an investment. The thing is, I don't hear very much about it now that it's in peoples' hands. Does anyone else own one? What do you think about it? Is SOG happy with the way it turned out? Just curious.

Oh no, you're telling me they're going to be coming out in carbon fiber as well?? Boy is my wife gonna be ticked when I tell her I have to spend another $275!!!! Thanks for the info though!!:D
 
The knife is doing quite well for us. I would say better than expected. We always seem to have really low stock levels on it.

Yes we are going to be releasing a CF handle one sometime next year. I do not have a date right now but keep an eye out for it.
 
Is the CF version going to be a LE or will it be a regular production version? It's going to be released in 2008?

Just need to know so that I can prepare for it. I convinced myself to buy one after fondling one at my local knife dealer. Really nice knife, but I'm going to wait for the CF.
 
At this point I do not think we have decided to make it a regular production or limited edition. We will know sometime in 2008.
