Well my birthday is comming on the 5th, and I'll have about $100 bucks to spend... Well I've been eyeing the Benchmade Sequel.. I like the overall shape and thinness (Which is whats holding me back from the Mini-Grip). Well being as I'm a coutious buyer, I'd like to know what people think about this knife... Thanks!

It's a really nice knife. Great for everyday carry because it's so compact. Great blade shape. The only thing that I didn't like was the flare at the top of the handle, I thought it was kind of awkward. The grip does have better ergonomics but it's definitely not as pocketable.

Funny that I have an almost identical post up on two other forums. Can't decide between a 556 or a 707. Leaning toward the 707 'cause of the overall slimmer package for EDC and higher tier feel of the aluminum handles like my 940. The $35 price difference is manageable for the upgrade. Although, performance wise I'd consider both very equal... it'd come down to personal preference in the end.

Lol I'm having the same conflict Sufler! But I think I'll get the Sequel..Mainly because its slimmer..

I just got a 707 myself. Sweet knife, although I was surprised how small the handle feels. I havn't used it enough to really get a good feel for it, but if you have larger hands, you may find the 707 to be on the small side.

I used to own one. I thought it was a very well made knife and the blade was awesome. I ended up selling it because the handle was too small for me. I could barely get a full 4 finger grip on it. I ended up getting a Mini-Griptilian and actually liked it better. It gave me just a tiny bit more handle to grab onto.
