How's the CF Police?

The fact that this comes in dedicated lefty got me thinking about it. I know they've been around for years with various types of scales. What do some of the experienced Police owners think of this CF version, as compared with prior materials it came in?

I have a lefty CF Police. I like the scales, although not as grippy as G-10, still pretty reasonable (and higher on the cool scale). Due to the tip down config, I have to rotate the knife upon drawing it from my rear left pocket. Maybe this wouldn't be an issue in front-carry position, though.

It's also thicker than the SS version, but noticably lighter as well.

You might be a little more critical of the cosmetics, since CF is hard to work with, if you were to examine it up REAL close. That said, overall a very classy and sleek knife. I'm also a lefty and I bought the plain edge version. I wonder how many are still for retail sale? (i have #133 of 150)

Nope, single steel liner on clip side only. It does have an adjustable pivot. Have no experience with prior versions of the Police, so can't help there, can only say the CF version is one sweet knife.

I second Deacon, the CF Police is very sweet. The handle's not as grippy as I'd prefer, but it serves me well in the EDC rotation and looks good with the uniform.
