Hows the izula folder going?

I hadnt heard anything about it in a while, wondering where it was at, since I saw on the website iit should be on somewhere around late 2010.
 
Back burnered after the HEST folder, Izula II and other misc. projects. If I remember correctly, they're working with Rowen on this project? Which will be great for a couple of reasons 1) made in the states by people who make good stuff and 2) should keep the cost down a little bit perhaps.
 
and there's been some posts from Jeff and Mike about how they are doing lots of stuff getting the soft goods going...getting some stuff ready for shot (geez, 2011 shot will be here before ya know it!)... as well as the old supply problem for some of the Izula folder components. like Adam said...the Hest folder, the Izzy 2...wow, they got their hands FULL!

that said...still coming...just not front burner now. Somewhere there's a long thread about it...

I'll probably buy one...we'll see when it happens.

Any chance well see it by christmas?
 
I really can't wait for this knife man. This is the one! I can feel it.
I will not need any other folders after this.

Note: I say this before every knife purchase. But this hunch is stronger
than the rest. :D

The IZULA folder???? In a word,[and this is just my 'opinion'].... no.
Look for late spring, early summer 2011. :thumbup: [again, just my 'guess']

Maybe Christmas 2011 or 2012. It doesn't even look like its on the back burner anymore. Its going to be a sweet knife if it ever gets made and I'm really looking forward to it. I hope ESEE gets the ball rolling on this knife because it will be a sweet knife and a great seller just like the Izula.

wish they would change the date on the website then. I had my hopes all high and stuff.:(
 
The Hest folder looks amazing. It comes very close to what the Izula was going to
be from the pictures. I would get one but I just pissed away a bunch of money on
some other knives. That and they are sold out in many places.

I would get the hest as well, but I am saving for my kershaw 0551 hinder collab.:D
 
So.. any updates on this topic from our favorite guys from ESEE? I have a friend that has been waiting to get one.... compared to the HEST/F, he thinks he likes the size of the Izula folder better, and is anxious to know if it's still being worked on.

Of course, after I get the HEST/F, he may change his mind :P (I hope I'm on the pre-order list for the first batch!)

I'm waiting for Izula folder as well. The H.E.S.T. Folder will hold me over until then.
 
I hope the Hest folder goes well so they will make the Izula, shame they teased us with this one and it got on the back burner.

Looking forward to both of them, can't wait till next month for the HEST/F.

I hope it won't be too long after that for the Izula Folder.
