How's the Scales put on, on this Knife?

On a Victorinox or Swiss Army Knife, how are the scales put on?
Not just glued I wouldn't think. No visible rivets...

Because I'm thinking of taking off the original scales and putting on something very nice, aka Mammoth Ivory.

Could one just use Gorilla glue whether there are little rivets or not underneath?
 
They pop on to a rivet type thing a mcbob. If you carefully pop them of you can put them back on sometimes but really they almost never go back on and stay like they did.
To put your own scales on just pry the original scales of and use G flex epoxy to put your custom scales on.
