How's the speed of the warranty department these days?

Hey everyone,

I'd like to send my knife in for a sharpening and a minor blade play fix. My question is, how fast are you guys getting knives back to you these days? I have plans for this little guy and I'd like it back in a relatively small amount of time. How long does a sharpening and a blade play adjustment usually take?

And should I just send it in to the Spyderco address, or is there something special I should do?

You know guys, you aren't being very helpful here :)

If no one has sent a knife in for anything like this recently, how about just telling me the procedure to follow.

Should I include money? How much?

Is there somewhere I can get more information?

Yeah im looking to send my bob lum in aswell to fix the vertical blade play and get it sharpened. Any idea on the turn around?

Hello,

Our turn around time is approx. 2-4 weeks right now. Feel free to call or email Amanda in Spyderco's warranty and repair department, she'd be delighted to help you, answer any questions and give you a firmer turn around time.

Gents, I had my Moran sweep point reground and resharpened and it came back in 2 weeks. I'm in CA FWIW.

I recently had a dragonfly in for repair and the turnaround was less than 3 weeks. Excellent.
