I'm just looking at some of the lovely scratches and blemishes that my forum knife is starting to wear into now. While, I don't use my forum knife daily, it has seen some use. For whatever reason, this has become my bow drill training blade. It sees regular batoning to make hearth and drill, drilling out the hearth divot, notching the wedge etc.

Blade is nice and comfy in both the hammer grip and reverse grip and is a champ to sharpen up. I haven't even did the convex conversion on it yet, mostly working off the factory grind. So who else is using their forum knife regularly?

I used mine to open a bag of coffee today! It made light work of that bag.

I do not own a Rat pack knife but my RC-3 OD/G10 orange slabs has worked for everything I have tried up to and including the field dressing and skinning 4 Virginia whitetails. I cannot ask for more but am sure it would be up to the challenge.

EdcIng mine, but hasn't seen heavy use yet. Just the normal day to day things. I prefer the mod pommel by far

I EDC mine every once in a while and used it to skin and bone out a deer.

Worked pretty good. Only thing I would do different is thin the edge out just a tad, but that is totally just my personal preference for meat work.

Love the RC3s.

I haven't even seen mine yet.:(
SWMBO uses it often and really seems to like it.;)

I havent used mine much but dropped it on cement and busted up the butt :thumbup:

Been EDC'ing my RPK with vertical carry, blade facing back, handle down. Sooo handy. Some people that ask me why I carry a knife now know after I helped them with some stuff.

I just took it off my belt, I edc'd it for a couple of days, but I found it rides to high for my liking (at least without the molle back). So I'm just wondering if I should get the molle back, or if I try to find a fitting piece of thick leather to make my own back for it.

So far it has mostly seen and cut food, just very little wood, although the latter shows in the coating - some places the coating is smoothed down ...

I just started using mine, still brandy new looking when this pic was taken. I like the nice smooth finish the coating takes on with lots of use. I'm liking this one a lot:)

Mine shows little wear except a nice patina on the exposed edge itself, since it's now my designated eating knife.

Got some positive comments at work from slicing apples at lunch time.

I agree, sort of. The RC-3 is (I think) the thinnest blade that RAT Cutlery makes, and yet I still find it a tad too thick for my liking. But I think I've just spoiled myself with very acute edges. I like it like this though, handles everything my RC-6 does, but in a smaller lighter package and with a more comfortable handle (IMO). Fairly thin blade, but not too thin as to discourage me from using it hard.

Thinned out the edge on mine and have been using it a fair bit. Mostly food and meat processing, though, so it doesn't really show that much wear and tear.

Same here. It's been my new steak knife so far with a little "hey look what I got" for my buddies.

My wife looks at me strange when I use it for dinner, just shakes her head. She doesn't understand about a man and his new tool.

Used it for slicing the meat on my plate at a family reunion. The guys saw it and all of them had a big grin or look of envy on their faces.
The women just shook their heads. :D

I'll put mine through it's paces this Spring.

Mine hasn't gotten much wear yet, it still looks factory new.
I've carried it on a couple hikes and used it for a thing or two around the house, but nothin yet that leaves any scars.

...*sigh* Maybe sometime soon.
