One solid piece of O1/L6 twist damascus from John Fitch. Marquenched in Al Dippold's salt bath set up. I dont even know or care how many layers. Probably over 200 layers though. Overall length is 6.125" with a cutting edge of 2.5". Thin and light; this one probably will get no handle slabs, but there are a couple of holes just in case I feel like overlaying something on. I did not put my name on this one, as I plan on keeping it. This picture was taken after etching, nuetralizing, oiling and lightly sanding with 600 grit paper. I think it will look better after a little buffing. Actually, it did have a mark stamped on it, but that was when it was a much bigger knife.
