who here wants to see something similar? i was thinking 3.5" blade, 4" handle, 1/8" thick blade, 1.25" wide blade, 3/16" handle slabs???

PS: any resemblance to a Busse Game Warden is purely coincidental :D

Well, I for one would buy it, if that counts as an opinion! And it doesnt look like a game warden to me at all. But I'd like the glass breaker back on it.

RC2 , let's see ...1095 2.5" blade w/thumb ramp similair to the RC3 with slight choil. 5/32"-1/8" thick overall 5-5.5" long gray/black micarta scale w/RAT logo on both grips, blue liner and a kydex neck sheath like Beckers BK11...that would be my idea of "MY" RC-2 !

I think you could make one in any size and people here would buy it. Whether it would be profitable is another matter entirely. The concept seems similar to Ranger Knives Littlebird.

Ahh, but the Little Bird has a 1 1/2 blade, and the Warden has a 2 7/8 blade. This would be 3 1/2, much more useful size to me.

I had a Ranger lil' bird and dealt it away just to small,I beleive it had a 1.75" blade to me it was to little overall, that is why I suggest my version of the RC2

New Livesay did a blade once called the Bow Huntin' Buddy that was one of the best small knife designs I've ever seen. I really liked that blade and some day would like to build something similar.

Sounds promising! I think that an RC3 w/ a 1/2 inch off of the blade and no choil would be a great little stash knife.

I'd still like to see the fully functional choil on all other RATs though - thats a big part of the comfort associated w/ RATs in my opinion (sure wish the TAK woulda had one).
