been doing a great job. truly an awesome blade. folks still get bug eyed when they here the price of good steel but they just don't understand.

the sand has been slowly eating away the green stuff on the blade and use has scratched a few gouges into the surface. just cosmetic so i don't care much about that. the thing that does get me though is a couple of weeks ago the impposible happened. the tip was dammaged. if the 'net here wasn't so slow i'd post pics. it's nothing to cry about and i think i can shape it back out with the stones i brought with me. but still, when i noticed that lil bit of infi missing. i almost shed a tear.

other than that me and my guys are doing good. aint nobody been badly hurt or nothing.

take care!

Great to hear...remember...those are character marks....every good knife has them!

Good to hear about Busse being where they were made to be.

I'll be over there come September.

I shy away from telling people what they cost too.

My list of steel going with me right now stands at:
1. Busse Combat Ripper with a Spec-Ops sheath w/ a blunt nose Gerber tool in the pounch.
2. Blk DC Game Warden, waiting on the BADASS sheath from Leatherhog
3. BA Tac pending delivery, with another BADASS sheath from Leatherhog
4. Benchmade Mini Presidio (BM525) for a folder

I'm just hoping the BA Tac and the Leatherman sheaths make it in time for all our work-ups starting in May. I'm guessing they won't catch-up to me till our scheduled leave period around July 4th. :grumpy:

Stay safe Brother.

Good to hear band-aid! Would love to see some pics of that blade someday, hope everyone stays safe over there.

Glad to hear the HellRazor is getting a true workout. I've added something in that was sent to me for the Canadian soldiers. but I think every word applies to your American soldiers as well. Stay safe.

I'd like to echo what the others have said. Band-aid, thanks very much for your service. My wife and children are safe, thanks to brave men such as yourself. May God watch over you and your fellow soldiers, and may you return safely and swiftly.

We appreciate ALL that you are doing and I hope you get the chance everyday to remove a few more problems from this earth. THANK YOU!!

And do you know how much you HR has increased in value? Actually used in the sandbox. I think that makes it worth much much more!!

Brother Band-Aid, I'm glad to hear you are doing alright. When you are back stateside, I would bet the folks at Busse Combat would be happy to clean that HR up for you. I'm sure any of us here that are capable would be willing as well. My clan sends our prayers for you and our gratitude to you! Stay well, stay strong!
