I think the coating did well, you can also reapply it every couple of months.

Yeah, I think it has a killer look to it when the raised edges get highlights like that. Please post some post use pics.

It will not be nearly as strong.... but I also do not think thats what Busse is aiming at. Only way they will develope a lock as strong is with AndrewD on board.

That is indeed tough wood.... we have another wood, african hard wood called Camelthorn which is absolutely destructive to a knife's edge... the only wood similar will be found in Australia. If you want to test a apex thats what you use.

I think the HR2 is a great knife.

The Busse at the moment is at 18dps.... I like my edges at 15dps.

Mine came 44incl from the factory... Yes a lot of metal to remove but you get a edge that actually cuts.
