They both look good, but the HRLM looks better. It's got "character"!!!!

It's a tough call. TOUGH.

The TAC handle feels soo much better on the BATAC than the SJTAC. I dunno. I guess it's a balance thing. (See NOTE below - I fondled both.)

But the HRLM. I've said it before, I'll say it again - I was never gonna get one. Got one of the LAST ones at the store. It's a danged comfy knife. It's like they took the Becker Companion and created an amazingly comfortable handle for it. The thumbrest is the BEST of all knives I've used. SWEEEET! Can't wait for camping season.

(Note: Just compared my BATAC to my SJTAC. The first indent nearest the front talonhole is thicker top-to-bottom on the BATAC. That was always my complaint about the TAC handle. Too thin on the index finger. And the choil is smaller on the BATAC too. I guess that's why I like the handle. More like a Swamp-Rat feel to it. Juuuuuuust right.)

Here's it is in the sheath I bought for a Becker Campanion. I have a brown version coming for the BATAC. Great sheath IMO. :thumbup:

off the shelf the spec ops sheath fits the sjtac perfectly. the batac is basically a shortened version of the sjtac.
