HT my first knife today!!

Man, that was cool. I was so nervous about it, but once I got it done, was very happy with the results so far. That little mini forge I built from Outdoor55 and Red Beard Ops' YT channel is super powerful. Was not expecting it to work so well. After the quench, the knife skated the file just like it was supposed to, and after tempering, I was able to remove the carbon deposits no problem. I'm very excited about my progress.

After the HT was done, I realized I probable left the bevel a little too thick. Need to bring it down a good bit before it will be ready to sharpen. Something to pay better attention to for the next one.
