ht on pocket clips?

extremely basic ? do they heat treat pocket clips and liners? if so to what rc?thanks ahead of time
 
Well the pocket clips I make I heat treat with a torch, and don't have a rockwell tester so I can't tell you how hard they are. I use carbon steel. SS or Ti will heat treat differently so just shooting for a number wont help you much. But to answer your vague question, yes typically pocket clips and liners are heat treated.
