HT question

Hello, I need some info. I am going to heat treat multiple blades made from 154cm 440c and ats34. My question is this. Do I need to soak them at 1400 and then ramp up to austentiziIng temp? I know the first batch will be soaked to at 1400 to stabilize the oven temp, but do the others need this or can I just put them in at whatever temp it is at then ramp it up to temp.

The soak will do no harm...and some good.
