You are a good one, Mike! I'm okay though. I just need to grab a new roll of it. I always got something else I can do until then.

Jeff, K&G finishing supply has good prices on stainless wrap.

YOU SUCK! :D

do they have any more?

:D

Major suckage.
If I could get it for $10 for even 50ft, it would be a bargain...
You guys sure it doen't say Reynolds Wrap on the box?

have you tried Turco? I didnt like it when i 1st tried it but i found out from a freind how to use it right and my blades never scale or pit. I don't buy foil anymore.

I use PBC on my carbon steel blades, but lately I have been doing 154CM and S30V. Some steels require 1900-2000F for austenitizing, so I need the Ticronic wrap. I learned a long time ago that the cheaper iconel wrap won't always do the job over those temps, and will burn a hole into the foil pretty much in the worst possible spot. I think Murphy has something to do with burn-hole location, hehe.

Jeff,
I've been using the Enco Ticronic foil for years. Never had a problem with it.
It's on sale right now.

Sorry for the crass commercial, guys, but I sell Ticronic foil by the foot on my Knifemaker's Supply web site in case you don't need a full roll.
