Ok, I suddenly have an interest in the AXD knife by Darrell Ralph. My question is about the differences and overall quality and usefulness of this knife in either the HTM or Custom version. I would want the assisted option. First are HTM knives worth the money in terms of getting a high quality usable, strong, reliable knife? The HTM AXD is in the $500 range from what I've seen which would need to perform quite well to live up to that price. I have seen very little mention of HTM on this forum. On the other hand what about going with a Darrell Ralph custom version?
Any ideas of the price point for one? I would rather go $800 -$900 and get a custom vs. $500 for production but not sure of the price points on the DDR customs.
