Been mulling one over for about a year, finally got one & was not too impressed.got the bowie blade. i dont have pics because i packed it up & shipped it right back.It was pretty well made, tight, early lockup, too, but it just didnt seen worth the 200.00 + price to me. The other thing i didnt like was that being the assisted model, you can see the long spring & torsion bar in the handle. There should be a steel plate like the kershaws to protect it. Dirt & gunk will surely cover it quick. It just looked kind of cheap with that showing.I just think there is a lot of better knives out there for less.If it was like 125.00 or less it would be more worth it,but 200-240 is way too much i feel. For me to pack up & ship a knife back within an hour is rare;I have an HTM Maxx 5.5 & it is amazing, just like the customs or camillus knives, but the gunhammer doesnt do a thing for me.Maybe someone else has one & has better things to say about it....

It looks like there has been a lot of quality control problems with them too.

I like the designs, especially the Torpedo blade shape. But am going to wait a while longer before I purchase one.

It was about the fastest knife i ever packed up to return that ive ever got. I bought a 30.00 kershaw volt 3 2 months ago on a whim & still cant put it down, but this one just did nothing for me.At least its got a plate protecting & covering the torsion bar.

(FLASH900) Get the volt 3,save your money on the gunhammer. guess you liked your gunhammer spydusse,i hated mine....

I owned a GH a few years back and did the same thing. Got it, opened the box, ran my hand around the handle and cut myself. The blade tip as it sat closed was just about to the edge of the handles. So sent it back. Don't know if they fixed that or not. But just to close to the end of the handles I thought. keepem sharp

Yes, one of the features is blade-to-handle-ratio being very even.

As a general rule, most tactical folders have one-inch bigger handle than the blade size.

Different companies and knife makers adjust this too.

All I know is my #26 of 45 forum Gunhammer had better be the shiznit , its the manual maxx glide pivot, torpedo blade and the best part a cpm s90v stonewashed blade. Darrell recently fired a bunch of people and cleaned house at HTM. He has also moved the shop to Texas and has gotten new machinery. For just under the price of a Seb it better be flawless. Their is alot of people watching to see what happens with this forum knife, and for HTM's sake I hope they're flawless. Mod's in the DDR/HTM forum have said everything should be good to go now:thumbup:

I hope you get your wish -- it's a good-looking piece.

Firing people, cleaning house and moving operations would make me a bit nervous about being an early adopter.

Yeah, I'll definitely be watching HTM for what happens after the move, regarding their quality-control.

I got in on the forum knife just because of the quality control issues, I am sure hopping that those are a thing of the past and each one will be perfect before they are allowed to leave the new factory.
