EDIT: Putting this at the top of this posting so everyone reads it. In juggling so many things at once, I forgot to ask for everyone's address that entered the contest so Darrel can mail you the teeshirt. That cuts a lot of work out for since you can email him directly. Sorry for my screw up. Darrel, Dirk and I picked a first and a second place to see how our choices compared. I don't think we thought initially that all three of us would pick the same person, hence the two top choices for each of us. I guess we all thought we'd vote from the handful of people we picked. But, TheBleedingEdge was the pick for all three of us. Bladechick777 also got two votes. After Darrel saw this he decided we should have a surprise second place prize for a Meyerco Variable Claw.

So...first place winner of the HTM radian assisted Gunhammer is TheBleedingEdge. Second place goes to Bladechick777. She wins the Variable Claw pictured below.

Gratz, winners. There were so many great entries. I had a hard time just picking two. For me it was like picking the lesser of two evils, except in reverse.

Congrats! And thanks for the contest. Lotta great stories in there, and a lot of inspiration to be gained. And some good advice too.
 
Whoa, seriously?! That's freaking awesome! Thank you! There were some kick-ass entries, too -- I had a blast reading through all of them.

Everyone has something that's important to them, and yet we have so few opportunities to share this information with other people. I think the best thing about this contest is that we each got to learn something about our fellow HTM/DDR collectors. Knowing a person is really about knowing what motivates them, and that knowledge really makes a community stronger.

Thanks everyone, and thanks especially to Darrel, Dirk, Hark and HTM for giving us this opportunity! I hope everyone has an opportunity to be as happy as I am right now! :D
 
Hey, nice. That's the one I would have picked too. I saw that entry go up, and thought, hey, that one is an awesome entry. And it couldn't go to a better home I'm sure; glad to see it go to another die hard DDR fan. Very cool!

Good stuff -- I'm not at all surprised by the winner, as it's the one I would have picked as well. Congrats to TheBleedingEdge! :thumbup:
