Hudson Bay ID

I bought this axe head on ebay because I want to make a boys axe and I like the Hudson Bay shape. I can only make out 4 letters of the 7 letter name. It is PAN___R. It also has the number 209 below the name. The other side had the letter M on it. It's a 2 pound head that is 7" long and the blade is 4".

Doe anybody have an idea who the manufacturer is, or any info on this?

Looks like PANTHER.

Panther has been a name associated with Kelly, Honeyman Hardware, and a foreign maker, and I apologize, I cannot remember who.

I tried to google panther 209 axe, but no axe images came up, except for some cool looking batman comic villain.

I have never seen an axe head that looked exactly like that. Maybe, someone cut it down and did a major modification to it. Hang it and see how it works. what does the eye look like?

The eye is almost perfect for an off the shelf boys axe handle.
