Hey all,

This weekend was Thanksgiving for us Canucks. Time to enjoy the company of family, hikes through the forest in the freezing cold and rain (), and, of course, turkey. Now, when it comes to carving turkey, I am spoilt for choice. Of course I have carving knives - but they lack a certain presence and authority. Plus, they aren't really wide enough to serve with, and that's a drag. This year the carving knives stayed in the drawer, and I used my JK Hudson Bay instead. :D

Sorry, I have no knife vs. turkey shots, but this blade really excelled this weekend! It was used for food prep, turkey carving, kindling chopping, trail maintenance / bush-whacking, and fuzz-stick shaving.

So, here's a belated 'happy Thanksgiving' to all of my fellow Canucks (and to the rest of you too!). And here are a few shots from the trail this weekend.

All the best,

- Mike
