Hudson Bay

What a classic, but ready for work!! Do you round off the edges on the handle to prevent rubbing the hand during rough work? I love the blade shape. Did you use more of a higher saber or convex grind to make it thinner at the edge?

John, I just retrieved the knife from my mailbox and couldn't wait to unbox it.

It is an absolutely wonderful knife, it is everything I was hoping for. Very, very pleased with it. I have to continue with work and the snow/rain mix happening at the moment is keeping me from taking some good pictures but I will be sure to get a good photo shoot in and maybe put it to some work as well.

I wanted to chime in and let you know it arrived safely. Thank you so much, I'll report back soon in this thread.

That looks like a beast. I wish that I had someplace to use something like that.

Figured I would at least drop a picture.

I have lunch to make soon where the knife will definitely be assisting and I also have some seasoned maple that I think I will process a bit of for the fireplace. I have a feeling the knife will perform quite admirably.

Well, I wanted to make myself a bit of a potato, veggie, and meat scramble but I apparently have some bare cupboards.

Cooking will have to wait until tomorrow perhaps.

I got a couple of glamour shots though.

Is the revolver a repro of Dragoon 3rd model? Walker? Nice pics, I assume you may be a re-enactor?

I have a friend who goes as a Comfederate chaplain, he is now looking into Naval re-enacting. I got him a Rough Rider Marlin Spike that would look period.

For some reason when I save the pictures and try to repost them, it says they are too large?
