Very nice! That's the exact canvas Micarta I've been looking for on the Boss Jack. I love it!

Yeah, I am in love with these handles; can barely stop picking this thing up. I don't have a caliper but it is humongous -so it's a fatty to me! Here's a comparison spine shot:

Thanks guys :D I know a lot of you have big Mistresses but this is my first time so I am pretty much stunned by all of the awesomeness and had to show her off.

stjones, that is a hard one to answer -especially since I don't have sheaths to take these bad boys out and use yet. That said, they honestly feel like two different knives. Since I'm so used to a choil, the choilless freaks me out a little (feels like I'm going to put my finger up there and squeeze on the edge or something). That paranoia aside, all the extra blade is sweet and the extra heft feels great. Very nice knives but it's easy to start slipping into the "I'll need a backup for the user" hole -and I just don't have the dough to go down that road :o
 
That tiger hide looks great. In other pics I have seen, it varies from wildly awesome (yours) to really bland tan-looking micarta... I wonder if it's just the photos or if it has such variation.
