This sheath is basically all firsts for me, and I am pleased how it came out.
As tedious as hand stitching this monster was; I take pride in my knives being 100% sole authorship and that includes doing sheath work.

Let me know what you guys think, don't worry I can take it! ;)

That looks incredible my friend. Really nice work.

Well Ben, other than a possible "nail" mark on the second photo, I think this is one of the better sheath's I have seen in a while. I sew my sheaths on a Tippman Boss, but I really prefer the look of a well hand-stitched sheath. There is just something about one that is hand-stitched that looks better to me.

I feel for you my man. That represents a lot of hand stitches,

Good job,

Robert

Nice job...... looks like you drilled the holes for stitching (?) the holes look round....but it's a good looking sheath.

Thanks guys! Yes I pre drill all the holes for stitching.
The Leather is all veg tan, the back is 11oz, the window and backer are 6oz.
The stud is is blued mild steel, and was my first try at making one. I will definitely being making more for this style of sheath in the future.

Beautiful work!
I havent worked up the courage to do an inlay sheath but I would be mighty proud if my efforts produced a sheath like that! Very, very nice!
All the best
Balding

Dang that thing is beautiful... Most sheaths I see either complement the blade or simply function. This thing seems to compete with the beauty of the blade... :p

Thanks guys, sometimes I accidentally get one right! :D

Gorgeous. And it makes me feel a little less like an ape to see that a skilled maker such as yourself can still have their stitching wheel run away on them!

That's how I sign my sheaths. :D
