This post is overdue!
A while ago some great Hogs on this forum donated funds to purchase a knife for my cousin. He had finished Marine Basic, and was in Marine MP school.
He has since finished Marine MP school, and been deployed. They were told likely they would be deployed to the Sand Box, but he got deployed to Okinawa Japan instead.
His family has great taste in guns, but no so much in knives. I have tried to be a good influence (or bad influence depending on how you look at it) on them.
My cousin Robert gave me permission to share these pics, which he sent to my phone. They were in a format that would not let me upload them to Photobucket......but thanks to Mymindisamob who converted them (or waved a magic wand or something????) I am able to share these pics with you.
And give a big thanks to the Hogs who donated (one of which donated a shop credit, and got the ball rolling, is not from the States, but from the Cold, Polite, Canada!)
Thank you:

I would also like to give a big thanks to Amy-0 and anyone at the shop who worked hard to get it done. Robert got the knife very fast, before he finished Marine MP school.
Also a Big shout out to Buy Brown sheaths (David Brown) for donating the sheath, with a very quick turn around!
These are phone pics from his phone that he sent me in a text.
I picked the knife based on feedback from some active duty guys who advised to go without choil.
