Dean, I'll leave it up to your discretion what you buy for me this year.

Depends in how I feel when I get up. We have a Lodge scheduled for Saturday night and that takes a lot of effort to prepare for. Then again we may go Sunday but we'll see. If I do go I'm takin my Rollator so when I get tired I'll have a place too sit.
I could carry a 12 pak in my basket, wonder what i could get fer a can of beer out there? :D
Probably get arrested fer botleggin.;)

YuhnSuh?

You got a new car, the all-terrain Rollator, improving eyesight, and the Beauteous Barb to keep you under (relative) control.

Getcherbutt out there!

You've been talking about various guns in most of the threads, from .45s to them Combloc thingies; you haven't had new toys in a while; the bargains in weaponry and ammunition won't last forever (inflationary trend noted by economists; ) and you have built-in crowd protection with the rollator.

Besides, you need to treat Barb to a special dinner or lunch somewhere. :p

Enjoy yourself and come back with stories.

Be well and safe.

Plus you can probably charge $9-12 bucks for each beer, so that'll cover your gas money...

:D

Dean, what time does the show start on Sat & Sun?

Nevermind, Barb just told me, starts @ 8:00 a.m both days and closes at 6:00 & 4:00 p.m. respectively. One of the big problems is that they never have enough handicapped parking at the damned fairgrounds.:grumpy:

I've been getting up pretty early here lately so I just may try to make it early on Saturday mornin if everything works out ok, we'll see.:D

How come I never hear about these things until the day before... :grumpy:
I always want to go but never plan ahead. Ya'll have fun.

BullSh*t!!!! :grumpy:

We got up and around early and made it out to the fairgrounds about 8:30 a.m. There were no handicapped parking places and people were walking in from 1/4 mile away!!!! The lines to get in were a half block or longer on each side of the building.
We turned around and came home, gonna try again tomorrow but at a later time, that is if we're not beat from the Lodge tonight.;) :D

By pure chance (walked in from 1/4 mile away at 830a myself)
I came from the opposite direction from the line
at the back of the building.

I didn't have to stand in line.

#1 - there was a lady outside selling tickets

&

#2 - she told me the line was for people carrying guns to be checked & tied

I walked thru the door next to the line and went on thru/in

btw, there's a ticket sales booth just inside.

Lots of people waiting in line that didn't need to.

730a arrival probably better to find close parking.

Arms show report part 1.

My legs are sore.

Cut-y thingies were greatly outnumbered by shoot-y thingies.

In some several cases,
the cut-y thingies & the shoot-y thingies were the same thingies.

Some of the cut-y thingies were khukuris.

Some thingies were neither cut-y nor shoot-y.

There was also;
old-y, mold-y, collect-y,
bang-y, hang-y, throw-y,
look-y, eat-y, & miscellaneous other thingies.

Some few of the wowie, costly thingies made me very sigh-y;
both the biggies & the smallies.

Also, my stomach got very growl-y.

But I'm not sorry.

Not a bad way to spend the weekend-y.

Big grin-y smile-y.

:D

Heh, for those whohaven't been, if you like guns, knives, or even watching big crowds of adults act like little kids in a candy store, tulsa show is something you have to experience at least once. Only made it out twice myself so far, but it's fun. Hopefully I can go in October, had plans this weekend.
